Tom Hyland - Events

Tom Hyland has successfully created and organized income-generating events for local, regional, and national non-profit organizations. These events have included golf tournaments, galas, walkathons, and other creative experiences as large as 50 - 2,000 participants.

He also has broad experience in all areas of fundraising from special needs appeals to major gifts acquisition, and grant writing. He has worked in diverse environments, including healthcare, education, museums, social services, and religious organizations.

Kathy understands the true Mission of an organization. She was especially adept at translating the Mission in a bureaucratic atmosphere in order to raise funds. During those years I was very impressed by her superior skill, especially raising funds in a very competitive arena, other larger cities in Sonoma County.

Madolyn Agrimonti, former Mayor and Council Member, City of Sonoma, Former Board Member, Sonoma Overnight Support, and donor.

I have great admiration for the fundraising efforts Kathy made on behalf of the Oakland Diocese.

Most Reverend John S. Cummins, Bishop Emeritus, Diocese of Oakland

Our Golf tournaments were not only hugely successful, with a gross of $575,000, but lots of fun and run professionally.
